I was educated at Sydney Grammar School and worked for over 50 years in packaging companies such as St Leigh, Containers Ltd, Precision Valves and Vizzy Board, mainly as sales & marketing manager. I retired in 2000 and moved from Clovelly in Sydney to Nelson Bay.  I joined the Nelson Bay Bowling Club as a full member in 2002 and played mid week Pennants. I was elected to the Board in 2005 serving under President Bob Hamill and then as Deputy Chairman to Tony Curtayne and now Ian Spencer.
